Are you a literature lover or an aspiring reader? Are you looking for a way to brush up your English language skills to connect with other English speakers? If so, then the Book Club is the thing for you. Join us to discuss the readings that are sure to provoke and stimulate your love of literature.

Facilitator of the Book Club is Dr. Dorothea Fischer-Hornung. She is a recently retired Senior Lecturer in the English Department at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and faculty member of the Heidelberg Center for American Studies. Between 1998 and 2012, she was a founding member and executive officer of MESEA, The Society for Multi-Ethnic Studies: Europe and the Americas. She is the author of numerous publications in the field of African and Native American literature and culture, with an emphasis on dance and performance studies.
