Poetry Picnic Potluck Party

We invite you to share poems, songs and creativity with the community. Bring your favorite poem (whether it’s your own or another author’s) and share it with other poetry-appreciators. Don’t have one? No worries! There are plenty of books with great poetry in our library. Plus there will be stations to make your own poetry that you can (but don’t have to) read aloud during the Open Mic portion of the night.

Although not mandatory, it would be lovely if you are able to bring a dish to share with everyone. All those who participate by either bringing food or sharing poems or songs during the open mic will receive a free drink and be entered into our raffle, which will be drawn at the end of the night!

Whether it’s to speak, eat or just to listen, we would love to have you!

Since last time people of all ages came forward to read their texts we’d like to keep the event open for everyone.
