Application Process<\/h2>\n

To register your child for a spot in one of our kindergartens, you may use the central registration system of the City of Heidelberg: kitaweb-bw.de<\/a><\/p>\n

Alternatively, you can send us the completed application form by email directly, which you can
\ndownload here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Please send applications to the email listed below, where we are also more than happy to
\nanswer any questions about the application process and spot allocation. Please don’t hesitate

Regardless of where you have applied, you will receive immediate confirmation of your registration from us that you have been placed on our waiting list. If you have applied using the city of Heidelberg\u2019s central registration system, you will also receive confirmation from them as well.<\/p>\n

Our team will contact you when we have an available spot for your child. The allocation of spots for the new kindergarten year, beginning always in September, will always take place at the end of February each year.<\/p>\n

If you are interested in a spot during the kindergarten year (October to May) or a short-notice enrollment, you can indicate this on our application form or contact us directly by phone at 06221-4165654 and\/or by email at verwaltung@dai-kids.de<\/a> for a prompt response regarding availability. Mid-year and short-notice admissions are not guaranteed and only occur if available and feasible.<\/p>\n

Please join us at an Open House<\/a> to get to know your preferred kindergarten. After the contract is
\nsigned, you will receive all further information for your start at the nursery\/kindergarten from the
\nrespective kindergarten director.<\/p>\n

\n

Available Spaces<\/h2>\n

Available seats in our International DAI Kindergartens are allocated according to various criteria. Preference is given to siblings of currently enrolled children, and children with an international background. Date of application is also a decisive factor. For our Neuenheim kindergartens, priority is given to children who reside in Neuenheim. Our Altstadt Kindergarten accepts children from other parts of the city.<\/p>\n

Admission and <\/strong>Childcare Contract<\/h2>\n

You will receive admission confirmation per email from the central registration system of the City of Heidelberg website at which you applied. Follow all steps indicated by the email from the central registration website. After this, you will receive more information on the next steps per email from our team. If you applied directly with us, you will receive all next steps by email from our team. If you have any questions at any point in the process, please send them to\u00a0<\/span>verwaltung@dai-kids.de<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

At this time, the respective kindergarten director will contact you and arrange an appointment for initial meetings with them as well as your child\u2019s future caregivers.
