The world population is growing rapidly. For 2020, a bio number of 7.8 billion people is indicated, with an upward trend. However, more and more people also mean a greater demand for living space as well as raw materials. Negative effects on ecosystems and biodiversity are already noticeable.
\nHow many people can the earth handle? Maximum numbers between 300 million or 3 billion people are thrown into the room. But how can world population be measured quantitatively and qualitatively? Does humanity have to shrink for species to survive?<\/p>\n
