In addition to a comprehensive program – consisting of individual lectures, lecture series, seminars, discussions in both German and English, concerts, films and exhibitions – the DAI offers a wide range of educational opportunities, including a language school, a public English-language library, a language support project for children and young people, and several international kindergartens. For our International Kindergartens we are looking for German as well as international educators (f/m/d)* and assistants. Your profile: Training as a state-approved educator , studies in social pedagogy or similar educational background. Experience in working with children English at a very high level Interest in other cultures Exemplary police clearance certificate … and above all: You love children and are patient and friendly in dealing with them. You believe in the importance of learning and teaching, see yourself as a companion to children in their learning process and believe in the importance of encouraging early childhood curiosity. We offer: A full-time, permanent position of 39.5 hours per week, including 6 hours of preparation and team meeting time.
