Makerspace

You have great ideas, but lack tools, space or know-how? Then come to the Makerspace of the DAI Heidelberg!

We help you to realize your ideas with our hand and electric tools, machines, 3D printers in our premises and to develop your skills. Here you can realize your creativity and your heart’s projects – from a spare part for a beloved antique piece to a vacuum cleaner robot, everything is possible, according to the motto “Learning by Doing – together”.

In addition to the realization of our own projects, the lively exchange with the community is also a top priority for us, as completely new possibilities open up through constant learning and the further development of existing things.

Attention:
Since the Makerspace has grown into a huge community since its founding in 2015, it will move into the DAI’s new Begeisterhaus on the Heidelberg Innovation Park (hip) site as its centerpiece.
For this reason, the Makerspace is currently closed and preparing for its move to the Begeisterhaus. We look forward to seeing you back after the move.
