Child holiday care at the DAI Heidelberg Creative writing workshop in German for children from 8 to 10 years Words as the key to understanding the world – Innovative holiday offers for primary school children Programme and concept During the carnival holidays, we explore the forest and get to know the mystical beings that supposedly inhabit it. In small groups (maximum 10 children) we read, discuss, play and write. With lots of fun and imagination we create new stories, catch them and write them down on paper. The aim is to support children with and without migration and flight experience in the playful acquisition and use of the German language, social skills and the strengthening of togetherness. The programme is supported by the Kinderland Baden-Württemberg foundation. Target group Primary school children from 8 to 10 years of age who want to improve their German language skills and use them creatively: Here they playfully experience what exciting worlds language can open up for us and what can be done with language. period: Monday, 15 February to Friday, 19 February 2021 In each case from 8:00 o’clock to 13:00 o’clock Location: DAI Heidelberg, Library (1st floor), Sofienstraße 12, 69115 Heidelberg Number of participants: Minimum 5 children, maximum 10 children costs: 75,00 € DAI members and holders of the Heidelberg Pass receive a 25% discount Sibling discount for second child: 10,00 € Hint: For families who cannot pay this amount, we provide scholarships.
