The program January – March 2025 now online!

We are delighted to present the first programme that bears the signature of our new programme director Lena Jöhnk. You can look forward with us to fresh impulses, innovative formats and at the same time to familiar and proven programmes in the usual DAI quality.

In the coming months, we will be devoting ourselves to our programme focus: Thinking futures: How do we shape tomorrow?

Together with outstanding personalities such as the sociologist Armin Nassehi, the business journalist Ulrike Herrmann, the philosopher Thomas Metzinger and the young author Paula Steingäßer, we will be looking at key questions about our future in a time of multiple crises. Let us inspire you with new perspectives and stimulate debate.

We start the year with a musical highlight: from 2 to 11 January 2025, the 35th Heidelberg Piano Week invites you to a celebration of piano art.

This will be immediately followed by another highlight: our 23rd International Festival for Silent Film & Live Music will take place from 30 January to 2 February. Look forward to timeless classics, fascinating rediscoveries and rare gems of film history – accompanied live by outstanding music.
