New series of events: Women in politics

Politics in Germany remains a male domain – equality is stagnating, even in public perception. But why do women find it particularly difficult to become visible in local politics and play an active role in shaping their communities? Is it due to a lack of motivation to run for office or structural hurdles? How can political networks be strengthened, family and mandate reconciled and politics as a whole made more inclusive?

Starting in February, our new series Women in Politics will shed light on the key challenges and develop possible solutions.
