Interns (f/m/d) in the field of press and public relations Interns (f/m/d) in the field of press and Public Relations The German-American Institute (DAI) Heidelberg is a non-profit cultural institution that provides information on social, political and cultural events on both sides of the Atlantic. This work includes individual lectures, lecture series, seminars, discussions in German and English, concerts, films and exhibitions. In addition, the DAI offers a wide range of educational opportunities, including a language school, a public English-language library, two international kindergartens and a language support project for students. For our PR office we are regularly looking for interns (f/m/d) throughout the year to support us for at least three months or even longer. Activities Cross-event collaboration in the PR department Creation of texts, invitation letters, presentations etc. Planning, organisation and implementation of individual PR activities Research on current projects, distribution list and database maintenance, web mailings and other advertising measures in day-to-day PR business Assistance with events (bar, entrance etc.) profile: Great interest in culture (lectures, readings, concerts etc.) Feeling for the language and very confident with the German language in spoken and written Very good knowledge of English Secure handling of all common office programs Independent, reliable working method Communicative, open-minded, motivated, proactive, team player, creative We offer varied and demanding tasks in a pleasant, open working atmosphere with a dynamic and motivated team.
