The world is unjust, corrupt and depressing. A moment which might seem quite harmless can infact be the final straw, setting off a chain reaction. Some remain calm. Others explode. Wild Tales is a film about those who explode. A black comedy about entirely normal people who overstep the fine line between civilisation and barbaricism. A physcopath, seeking revenge on his enemies, takes a flight and its passengers hostage. A waitress recognises one of her customers as the man who ruined her father. A quarrel on a country road develops into a fight between life and death. A bomb expert puts up a fight against the arbitrary rulings enforced by officials. A millionaire tries to protect his son after he’s the driver in a hit-and-run accident. A wedding goes to the dogs when the bride realises that her husband has invited a colleague with whom he had an affair.
