Since 2010 she has been writing poems. Adrienne Brehmer, born 1968, lives as a freelance writer in Cologne. In 2008 she made her debut with the leporello Hinter den Bergen (poems and puns), since then numerous publications. She founded a reading series as a stage for experimental literature and is an exhibitor at art book fairs. As part of the NRW State Programme Culture and School, she leads children to lyrical writing and was awarded the NRW Children’s Culture Prize 2018 for this.
