Ulf Stolterfoht reads with young literary talents Sun, 27th September 2020, 5:00 pm cliché | contemporary literature Literature Ulf Stolterfoht’s poetry is “unwieldy, yet pleasurable fare, melodically lightly presented, of great rhythmic beauty,” the FAZ noted. It takes up fragments from various fields of knowledge and language layers of German, is witty and humorous. In particular, Stolterfoht became known for his lyrical long-term project fachsprachen. He has received several awards, including the Peter Huchel Prize and the Anna Seghers Prize. In 2019 Ulf Stolterfoht held the Heidelberg Poetry Lectureship. Now he came to Heidelberg on the invitation of the magazine klischée | Gegenwartsliteratur, which was founded by Heidelberg students* in 2018 – to hold a poetry-writing workshop (26/27 September). The public reading on Sunday afternoon will conclude this writing workshop: the participants will present the texts they have worked on during the two days; Ulf Stolterfoht will also read his own texts. klischée will publish the works in a special issue soon after the writing workshop.
