Somatic Meditation – To Be at One with Your Body

  • Josh Gale
  • A half-day workshop

Somatic meditation is about working with the body as the ground of meditation practice. Rather than a top-down, mental orientation towards meditation, somatic meditation is a bottom-up approach, in which the body is the key.

With a combination of somatic meditation, yoga and bodywork, we can open our boundless awareness and experience the wisdom and intelligence of the body. The body and mind become one with our original nature.

During this half-day workshop, we will explore meditation exercises from Mahayana Buddhism and Tibetan yoga while lying, sitting and moving.

Between the practices, there will be space to discuss and share experiences.
