For children aged 7-12 years with knowledge of English (writing)

Come to the DAI Heidelberg for a creative poetry workshop for children to celebrate World Poetry Day.
In this Pocket Poems workshop, children will discover the joy of poetry in an entertaining and inspiring way:
– We will read and discuss different poems
– We will learn about simple poem forms and structures
– We write a poem together as a group
– All children write and illustrate an individual poem

– We celebrate poems full of joy and respect

At the end of the workshop, each child will take their poetic work home in their own little bag – a special souvenir of their poetic journey!
