Parent workshop: “Is my child gifted?”

The workshop follows the event “Is my child gifted?” (May 5, 2026) and offers the opportunity to deepen key ideas from it and apply them to your own family situation. The number of participants is limited.

Many (highly) gifted children surprise us with their special way of thinking, feeling and perceiving the world. At the same time, this often leads to questions, uncertainties and challenges in everyday life.

The workshop helps you to understand your own child even better and to gain confidence in dealing with special needs.

What participants can expect:
– Insight into typical challenges in everyday (school) life with (highly) gifted children
– Impulses for a more relaxed approach to perfectionism, frustration and intense feelings
– Support in recognizing their own child’s needs more clearly
– Concrete ideas for everyday family life
– Opportunity to exchange ideas with other parents

In a trusting and appreciative atmosphere, the focus is on the participants’ questions and experiences. The aim is to strengthen parents in their role and gain more confidence in dealing with their child.

Tanja Sauer is a teacher, gifted educator, author and mother of a gifted child. In her work, she combines the latest scientific findings with practical ideas for children and families.

The workshop can be attended independently of the event. For participants of the event, it offers the opportunity to deepen the content and transfer it into everyday life.
