Openness is the essence of the boundless sphere,
Clarity is the essence of vivid awareness,
Sensitivity is the essence of the heart’s compassion.
In the distorting mirror of confused mind,
These three become the gross projections of this world.
Rigdzin Shikpo
Initially a mathematician and physicist, Rigdzin Shikpo has studied and practised Buddhism for over 50 years. He met his main teacher, the Tibetan master Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, in 1965 and became one of his first Western students.
Rigdzin Shikpo teaches in the tradition of Dzogchen Maha-Ati. His teachings derive from the great 14th century scholar Longchen Rabjam.
