The current Corona pandemic has demonstrated the important role that data and statistics play in policymaking.
In a panel discussion on the occasion of the Symposium of the German Working Group on Statistics 2021, representatives from science and politics will use the example of the Corona pandemic to discuss which data need to be collected in order to support political decision-making with suitable models and statistics.
