Mirna Funk
- Who Cares!
- About the freedom to be a woman
- Lecture, Literature
Mirna Funk is fed up with the debates about gender inequality, care work and compatibility. Self-determined, independent women don’t wait for someone to change social structures for them – they follow through and act!
With her book Who Cares! (2022), she makes a passionate statement for the autonomy of all women. She wants to encourage them to actually live their long-standing freedom. And she sets a good example: her Jewish identity and East German origins have given her an image of women that is radically different from mainstream feminism. Because she believes in the power of self-efficacy.
Whether in matters of career, money, sex, relationships or parenting, Funk shares her experiences and shows how to go through life independently with the right mindset.
Mirna Funk, born in 1981, works as an author and freelance journalist, among others for FAZ, Die Zeit and SZ. She was awarded the Uwe-Johnson-Förderpreis for her debut novel Winternähe (2015).
