Melissa Müller, born in Vienna, is an author and screenwriter. Her biography The Girl Anne Frank (2013) has been translated into 25 languages and the film adaptation of the book won several Emmys. Hitlers Sekretärin erzählt ihr Leben (2003, in collaboration with Traudl Junge) was on the SPIEGEL bestseller list for over a year and served as the basis for the Oscar-nominated film Der Untergang.
