Humorous, faithful, with a delicious dash of self-irony, the well-known actress and author offers a thoughtful journey to the poetry of well-known poets such as Goethe, Rilke and Kaleko. Insights into her book Ich umarme den Tod mit meinem Leben, her commitment to the hospice movement reveal her own philosophical thoughts on “death and life.”
The reading will be musically accompanied by Ralf Glenk.
Marianne Sägebrecht ran the artists’ pub “Mutti Bräu”, worked at the cabaret “Opera curiosa” and played with stars like John Malkovich and Michael Douglas, always credibly miming the simple woman next door who doesn’t put up with anything.
The event will take place at the DAI Heidelberg and parallel in the dai HOME Livestream.
