In his new book of poems, Marcus Schiltenwolf presents a collection of touching poems written over the past ten years. They are mostly short verses without rhyme or meter. Often encrypted and enigmatic, thought-provoking, multi-layered. They present native landscapes, they reflect the contradictions of everyday life, the relationship between children and parents. At the end there are very concrete love poems.

Prof. Dr. Marcus Schiltenwolf, born in Kaiserslautern in 1959, studied medicine in Mainz and joined the authors’ group there. In 1987 he came to Heidelberg and became an assistant physician at the Orthopedic Clinic in Schlierbach, later specializing in orthopedics, trauma surgery, pain therapy, chiropractic. In 1996 followed the habilitation.
Heimat (2020) is his second volume of poetry.
