Growing up with music, understanding it and developing through it – that’s what the Little Piano School is all about. Kim Monika Wright’s aim is to teach music in a way that preserves, develops and promotes children’s natural access to music. In this workshop, Wright introduces the Little Piano School and explains her method using practical examples. Together, the participants will develop music games and discuss questions relating to music education.
Kim Monika Wright began piano lessons at the age of three with her mother, the pianist Laura Albonetti. After obtaining a piano diploma in Italy, she devoted herself to studying pedagogy, developmental psychology and music therapy. After many concerts and awards as a soloist, she founded her Little Piano School in 1986, creating a new and innovative method for musical education.
