Kirill Lissijenko began playing the piano at the age of eleven. He completed his studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Drama in 2010, followed by a master’s degree at the Sibelius Academy and a master’s degree in chamber music at the Estonian Academy of Music and Drama in 2016.

He has also taken part in various masterclasses with top pianists. He was successful at the Helmi Valtman Foundation competition and the “Con Brio” piano competition in Tallinn and was awarded second prize at the International Alion Baltic Competition in 2015. Prize at the International Alion Baltic Competition in 2015. He regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician with well-known artists, such as the EMTA Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Paul Mägi. He also plays as a harpsichordist in a baroque ensemble. He recently performed in Italy with the Master Orchestra under the direction of Sergio Baietta.

At the DAI, Kirill Lissijenko plays works by Frédéric Chopin and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
