  • We can still be friends
  • Separation stories from hell

How two people find each other is often an easy story to tell. But how do they break up? Lewina collects stories about one of the most painful experiences of our lives: the end of a love affair. Her anecdotes read like a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Because break-ups are naturally a wild thing. Fortunately, we can learn from the mistakes of others: about our own recklessness, our behavioral patterns or how not to run into an open knife. Because these stories have one thing in common: In the end, you’re glad when what shouldn’t be permanent is over. Lewina’s break-up stories are lively, funny and profound. Empathetically and intelligently, she explores how to break up well.

Katja Lewina, born in Moscow in 1984, studied Slavic studies as well as literature and religious studies. In addition to numerous books, she also writes for Brigitte, Eltern family, Playboy and DIE ZEIT, among others.
