With a trumpet player originally from Berlin, this quintet brings together musicians fresh from the current Berlin Jazz scene. They have been making music together for years. The musicians’ compositions bring their listener into the moment, offering a huge acoustic variety, from sounds of intimate fragility to virtuous ecstacy. The quintet has been awarded the, Studioprojekt Jazz prize by the Berlin Senate and will now present the resulting CD (Jazzwerkstatt), hot off the press, in Heidelberg.
