Stephan-Max Wirth Experience

Intuitively felt and directly realized, this band develops breathtaking music that makes the listener rejoice one moment and ponder the next. Wirth’s compositions draw on half a century of jazz history and yet are full of modern radiance – a thoroughly explosive mixture of profound jazz and irresistible grooves. Berlin-based saxophonist and composer Stephan-Max Wirth has been leading his own band for 25 years. This means a quarter century of energy and passion, trance and devotion.
