FIELD is “intended for all people who have ears to hear,” wrote Tim-Caspar Böhme in the TAZ about the album “Heal The Rich. The quartet around the Berlin saxophonist Uli Kempendorff plays pieces from the pen of the band leader. “Someone Talked” (ENJA) is FIELD’s third record and the first in the new line-up with Christopher Dell on vibraphone, Peter Bruun on drums and Jonas Westergaard on double bass. The band has been playing in this formation since 2018 and has since found a common language marked by subtlety and power.
