Jazzclub Heidelberg at the DAI

Ten years have passed since Joschi Graf, together with his son Gismo Graf and the double bass player Joel Locher, came up with the brilliant idea of forming a new trio with the promising talent of the young guitar virtuoso Gismo Graf in the foreground. That this small but fine line-up was to become one of the world’s leading and freshest Gypsy Jazz bands in a very short time was probably something few people realized at the time. Besides titles by Django Reinhardt, it is the special mix of pop, classical and original compositions that makes up the unmistakable sound of the trio.
