In the Shamgunova Quartet, the harmony instrument is replaced with a wind player, thus creating quite unheard-of freedoms. Because two saxophonists can play twice as many melodies! Kristina Shamgunova about her band: ” We will explore different textures in my brand-new compositions and set off to daredevil duet improvisations.
