The original duo sound of Matthieu Michel and Jean-Christophe Cholet takes on completely new dimensions through the search for simplicity, mutual complementation as well as the opening for intimate melodies. Each musician takes an important place, presenting his own compositions. We recognize the colors of their journeys through the world, their deepest emotions. Traditional music of the Atlantic regions inspires the program, from Brittany to the Basque Country, where Didier Ithursarry comes from. They are called, for example: “Banako”, “Zortziko”, “Fandango” or “Mutxiko”.
