Jazzclub Heidelberg at the DAI

Since time immemorial, two forces have been tugging at jazz. The power of the mind on the one hand, which is reflected in sophisticated compositions. On the other hand, there is the other force, the impetuous, wildly explorative, and gluttonous power of improvisation, which wants to defy the rules of the notated. The principal struggle for the creative upper hand manifests itself in the music of the Fabian Dudek Quartet.
