Inside the Writers’ Room – CANCELLED!
- Alex Katsnelson
- Lecture
Unfortunately, the event has to be cancelled.
Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, House of Cards – all have one thing in common (apart from being both wildly successful and sophisticated at the same time): Instead of one mastermind behind each episode, the creative energy of several authors creates intriguing characters in so-called writers’ rooms: Panels of experienced dramatists, each with their own personal background, feed off each other, producing the signature depth of modern TV series. Alex Katsnelson talks about his experience as author, producer and member of several writers’ rooms, giving an insightful overview of the writers’ changing role in the rise of sophisticated TV narrative.
Born in Moscow and educated in Film at Boston University, Alex Katsnelson has worked in Hollywood for over 15 years as script writer and producer of TV shows.
