Ingeborg von Zadow and Florian Kaiser

The Theater Carnivore, based in Heidelberg, has made it its mission to revive the tradition of the historical travelling theatre. For its current production, it has commissioned the Heidelberg playwright Ingeborg von Zadow to write a new, contemporary original comedy along the lines of a historical travelling stage play.

Before the premiere in May 2020, Florian Kaiser (director of Theater Carnivore) and Ingeborg von Zadow will give insights into the special challenges of working for an unusual stage. They will be joined by theatre scholar Esther Pramschiefer, specialist for the historical travelling stage and a sneak preview reading from the new play “Liebe oder Leben!
