The constantly growing importance of English language skills and intercultural competence makes a stay abroad more and more important. The easiest way to acquire these skills is in a year of school abroad. Experience has shown that even in the case of the G8, a year abroad can be completed and re-entry into the former class can be managed. During the event, all interested parties will learn how to proceed in planning and what to pay attention to. The differences between self-organised exchange and exchange with an organisation will also be discussed.
