Leading through crises
- Stay human! Business enterprises and responsibility
- Heike Nettelbeck & Bernhard Schreier
- Literature
Many people are currently experiencing it: their employer is in crisis, job cuts are threatening – a stressful situation for employees and management alike.
Leading through Crises identifies the challenges that management faces in crises and provides scientifically based advice for managers and employees on how to overcome them. It also shows the human side: the feelings of those affected and the ambiguities of corporate leaders.
Bernhard Schreier was CEO of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG for 13 years and is now involved with the Walldorf Zoo, the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region and as a commercial judge, among other things.
Heike Nettelbeck was herself affected by job cuts. As a mechanical engineer and systemic coach, she has held a wide variety of specialist and management positions; since 2014, she has been a professor of management and organization at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
A dialogue at eye level, conducted with lightness and warmth despite all the gravity and seriousness of the topic.
