As a fitting warm-up to this year’s International Children’s Book Festival, we’re celebrating Harry Potter Book Day at the DAI Library once again!
On this day, Harry Potter fans around the world honor their magical heroes and heroines from Hogwarts. This year’s theme is “Spells and Potions”: From “Wingardium Leviosa” to Polyjuice Potion and the liquid luck of Felix Felicis to the Invisibility Cloak, let’s dive into the incredible power of magic!
Look forward to a spell-binding afternoon with numerous activities, including reading excerpts from Harry Potter books, potion-making, and dueling practice, culminating in a fast-paced buzzer quiz where witches and wizards can put their magical knowledge to the test and compete for exciting prizes.
Please be sure to come in costume—and keep your wands at the ready!
