Half an Hour with… is a new transatlantic discussion format of the Association of German-American Centers, of which the Carl Schurz House is a member. Once a month, we invite you to a half-hour discussion with experts who talk about the USA and German-American relations in a well-founded and compact manner. Whether current political developments, social trends, economic perspectives or cultural insights: Half an Hour with… brings transatlantic topics directly to your home or office. Take the opportunity to get to know exciting personalities, discover different points of view and contribute your questions to the dialog.

David Frum is a staff writer at The Atlantic and the host of the weekly podcast The David Frum Show. He is the author of 10 books, most recently Trumpocracy (2018) and Trumpocalypse (2020). In 2001 and 2002, David was a speechwriter for President George W. Bush. From 2014 to 2017, he chaired the prominent U.K. center-right think tank, Policy Exchange. He writes for The Atlantic on topics including politics, policy, art, literature, and history.
