Is Girl Scouting for you or your daughter? In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and the power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision-making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others.

You are invited to join the 2013-2014 Heidelberg Girl Scouts celebrate the end of a successful scouting year.  A brief ceremony will be followed by the opportunity to browse our programming books, speak to current girls and leaders and even preregister for next year (all girls registering in June will be guaranteed a troop in the fall, as well as receiving a free t-shirt).  USA Girl Scouts Overseas is open to all girls ages 5 to 18 as well as any adult 18 or over who would like to help „Girls Grow Strong.“

Boy Scouts
Because there are no established Boy Scout troops in Heidelberg that we know of, we would like to hear from you if you or your son are interested in Boy Scouting. Boys and their parents, especially those parents who would like to lead or otherwise organize a troop, are invited to come to the Girl Scout event on June 28th as well. We hope to make all the right connections and get some Boy Scout troops set up soon!

Admission is free.
