Truth and Deception

  • Democracy Hijacked?!
  • Manipulation of public opinion in the digital age
  • Conference

Hard to grasp and extremely powerful at the same time: public opinion. Those who can influence it, have many doors open to them.

Being able to disseminate information anonymously, extensively and effectively, first to individuals and then to an entire public, has become easy in the digital age. This creates a climate in which public debates are conducted between hollow argumentation and polarized communication.

The future of our democracies depends on the responsible use of information. We must all bear this responsibility – media representatives, politicians, citizens.
