The Europeans in the conversation link to the great salon tradition in Germany to discuss what can be described as European identity. Europe’s diversity yesterday and today. Joys and sorrows that bring us together the centuries-old concern for the search for peace and its maintenance.
Our guest at the next salon evening in the moderated discussion Dr. Sandra Kostner, studied history and sociology in Stuttgart, and received her doctorate at the University of Sydney. At the PH Schw. Gmünd she is head of the Master’s programme Interculturality and Integration. As Diversity Officer, she researches migration-related conflicts of values. One of her current research focuses: What social dynamics arise from the combination of claims to victims and confessions of guilt?
