Europeans in Conversation builds on the great salon tradition in Germany to discuss what can be described as European identity: Europe’s diversity yesterday and today. The joys and sorrows that bring us together. And the centuries-old concern about the search for and maintenance of peace.

What rules of civil coexistence are indispensable? Necla Kelek has been observing the sometimes contradictory developments in Germany as a country of immigration for some time and examines the relationship with Turkey, an important country of origin.
