Europeans in conversation
- Where does Europe stand today?
- Uncertainty and prospects
- In dialogue
Unprotected open speech in a space protected by salon-capable language.
Europeans in Conversation builds on the great salon tradition in Germany to discuss what can be described as European identity: Europe’s diversity yesterday and today. The joys and sorrows that bring us together. And the centuries-old concern about the search for and maintenance of peace.
An attempt at an explanation: How was it possible for right-wing movements to regain such a strong foothold in political discourse during the longest period of peace that core Europe has ever experienced?
Guest:
Herbert W. Rabl, journalist, describes his view on perspectives that can take the ground away from this development.
