Join us for an afternoon with puppeteer and art educator Carol Sterling! Through exciting stories, she will take young explorers on a thrilling journey and reveal how the turtle got its shell. Carol’s interactive puppet-show will be followed by a puppet making workshop. And as Oceans Day is coming up the motto for this afternoon’s designs is: the Ocean!
Carol Sterling is an award-winning educator, artist, and puppeteer from New York. She is dedicated to arts education and has developed numerous programs to promote creativity and cultural awareness. She has served on the foundation board of Muppet & Sesame Street’s creator Jim Henson.
Recommended age: 5 to 11 years, parents and grandparents welcome!
Please bring any material you consider suitable for your puppet, i.e. cloth, buttons, paper cups etc.
