Carli Kream

After years as a sideman, Mannheim-based saxophonist Carl Krämer has put together an unusual lineup for his first own project, Carli Kream (winner of the Sparda Jazz Award 2021). The band’s music is characterized by rhythmically complex and harmonically surprising arrangements and compositions. In between, the individual players stand out with energetic improvisations. With a musical wink, a solid foundation is laid for a performance full of sophisticated music and good humor.
