Off the track and back Thu, 23rd January 2020, 8:00 pm The way out of psychosis Gunther Schmidt & Christiane Wirtz In dialogue Christiane Wirtz studied history and was a radio journalist for many years at public broadcasting companies until she had to fight a protracted psychosis from mid-2013 until the turn of the year 2015/16. The diagnosis: schizophrenia. She has written a book about it and talked to people who have involuntarily become witnesses and sometimes even rescuers in need. In addition to her work as an author, Christiane Wirtz is now a systemic coach and mainly advises people in psychological crises. She is accompanied by comments from Dr. Gunther Schmidt, Medical Director of the sysTelios Private Clinic Siedelsbrunn for Psychotherapy and Psychosomatic Health Development and Director of the Milton Erickson Institute Heidelberg, with whom she has cooperated in psychotherapy.
