Be your own best friend

The practice of mindfulness involves the heart as much as the head. Some contemporary mindfulness teachers say “heartfulness” might be a fuller expression. It’s not only about cultivating greater present moment awareness, it’s also about having a compassionate, kindly attitude towards ourselves and others. Traditionally, this is called loving-kindness.
During this six week course, we will investigate themes relating to self-compassion and loving-kindness before exploring meditation practices that help us to cultivate a kinder, friendlier attitude towards ourselves.
Open to all. However, if you are experiencing any mental health issues, please discuss with your doctor or therapist before registering.
