35th Heidelberg Piano Week
- Asli Kiliç
- In collaboration with the Jahrhundertwende-Gesellschaft
- Concert
Asli Kiliç began piano lessons at the age of five at Dr. Hoch’s Conservatory in her home town of Frankfurt am Main. Her musical studies took her to the conservatories in Mannheim and Cologne, where she studied with professors Paul Dan, Ragna Schirmer and Arbo Valdma. In various master classes, she draws inspiration and further impulses to develop her vision of the visibility of music, which is confirmed by national and international music prizes and scholarships.
Her two CD releases Debut and Leoš Janáček were well received by the specialist press. Fono Forum attests to her “excellent pianistic technique” and emphasizes her tonal maturity and great musical sensitivity. Piano News even confirms the artist’s “superb piano playing” and praises her flair for revealing musical forms and making them tangible for the listener.
At the DAI, Asli Kiliç will play works by Frédéric Chopin, Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin, Béla Bartók and Leoš Janáček.
In cooperation with the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media
