Pietro Ceresini, who has been attached to the piano from an early age, made an impression at the age of 7 at the Teatro Regio in his home town of Parma. After intensive training in Rome and Germany, including with Christoph Sischka, he won numerous awards at national and international piano competitions.

His multifaceted repertoire ranges from Beethoven to Liszt, and he performs with renowned orchestras worldwide. Pietro Ceresini has made his mark on major festivals in Lima, Verona and Germany. As a sought-after pianist and teacher, he currently enriches the musical environment at the Tyrolean State Conservatory in Innsbruck and the Freiburg University of Music.

At the DAI, Pietro Cer esini will perform works by Alban Berg, Viktor Ullman, Karol Szymanowski, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Charles Valentin Alkan.
