28. Heidelberger Klavierwoche

  • Edoardo Bruni
  • In cooperation with Jahrhundertwende-Gesellschaft
  • Concert

Edoardo Bruni is a pianist and composer. He finished his piano diploma with distinction at the Trient and Rotterdam conservatories and continued his education with Cohen, Berman, Delle Vigne, Schiff and Margarius. His own compositions have been performed in over 150 concerts in Europe.

In this recital Bruni is going on a historical journey through the form and content of the prelude class. Starting with contrapunctal works from Bach he leads the listeners over to romantic contributions by Chopin towards the impressionistic mysticism of the 20th century with Skrjabin and the passionate late romantic period of Rachmaninow. The journey ends in the 21st century with traces of Edoardo Bruni himself: the Preludi Modali.
